POB and BEE: How to Get Juicy Weekly HIVE Divs
Today I want to talk again about two other tokens that, over these years of activity on Hive, I have slowly accumulated: POB and BEE.
This post adds to two others I have already written about four tokens I care particularly about:
Each of these tokens generally has a specific advantage that led me to add it to the list of tokens I focus on and constantly try to increase in quantity.
To discover the advantages of the four tokens mentioned above, I refer you to the respective posts, while today I will focus on the two indicated in the title of this post: POB, the tribal token of the Proof of Brain community, and BEE, the Hive-Engine token.
How many POB and BEE do I own? And how can I obtain them?
These are the first questions to answer: POB and BEE are two tokens I own in very similar amounts — at least in terms of their dollar value — but lower than some of the other tokens I’ve already mentioned.
As shown in this screenshot, I have about $6 in POB and about $5.50 in BEE.
These are not very high amounts, but I obtained them entirely as rewards for publishing my posts: by using the tags POB, proofofbrain, BEE, and Hive-Engine (and perhaps others I’m not aware of), it is indeed possible to accumulate these tokens as rewards for your posts, and similarly, you can also obtain them as curation rewards by curating content that uses these tags.
In addition, it is always possible to purchase them directly on the market: for both, there are also some liquidity pools available that make the purchase quick and easy.
Why hold them?
In themselves, POB and BEE do not have any particular use cases that might catch my attention: they don’t provide dividends, upvotes, or access to special features that might interest me.
They seem like tokens like any other, interesting mainly for those who share the tokenomics or the purpose for which they were created — for example, POB has a very interesting tokenomics, with an emission process that mirrors that of Bitcoin, but based on Proof of Brain rather than proof of mining.
However, the reason I hold them is another one, as I hinted in the title of this post: there is, in fact, a way to earn excellent HIVE dividends available to those who hold these tokens.
Which one?
It’s very simple! Just delegate your POB and/or BEE tokens to the accounts @pob.voter - and not @pob.bank, as I previously stated: thanks @dstampede for noticing it! - and @bee.voter, both connected to the @helios.voter project.
In exchange for this delegation, you receive a particularly generous weekly dividend in HIVE, as you can see from the following screenshots:
If we look at the dollar value of the tokens I own and the amount of HIVE I receive, we find that:
- Delegating POB generates an APR of about 100%
- Delegating BEE generates an APR of about 25%
What can I say? They both seem like valid reasons to accumulate these tokens 😅... and what do you think? Were you aware of this possibility?

POB e BEE: Come Ottenere Golosi Dividendi Settimanali in HIVE
Oggi voglio tornare a parlare di altri due tokens che, in questi anni di attività su Hive, ho continuato lentamente ad accumulare, ossia POB e BEE.
Questo post si aggiunge ad altri due che ho già scritto ed inerenti ad altri 4 tokens a cui tengo particolarmente:
Ognuno di questi tokens in genere ha un vantaggio particolare che mi ha spinto ad aggiungerlo alla lista dei tokens su cui mi concentro maggiormente e la cui quantità cerco costantemente di aumentare.
Per scoprire i vantaggi dei 4 tokens sopracitati vi rimando ai relativi posts, mentre oggi mi concentrerò sui due indicati nel titolo di questo post: POB, il tribal token della community Proof of Brain, e BEE, il token di Hive-Engine.
Quanti POB e BEE possiedo? E come ottenerli?
Queste sono le prime domande a cui rispondere: POB e BEE sono due tokens che possiedo in quantità molto simili - almeno dal punto di vista del loro controvalore in dollari - ma inferiore ad altri dei tokens di cui vi ho già parlato.
Come visibile da questo screenshot, possiedo circa 6 dollari in POB e circa 5.50 dollari in BEE.
Due importi non molto elevati ma che ho ottenuto interamente come ricompensa per la pubblicazione dei miei posts: utilizzando i tag POB, proofofbrain, BEE e hive-engine (e forse anche altri di cui non sono a conoscenza) è infatti possibile accumulare questi tokens come ricompensa per i propri posts e, parimenti, è possibile anche ottenerli come ricompensa da curation curando i contenuti che utilizzano questi tag.
Inoltre è sempre possibile acquistarli direttamente dal mercato: per entrambi sono disponibili anche alcune liquidity pools che rendono l'acquisto veloce e semplice.
Perché detenerli?
Di per sé POB e BEE non hanno casi d'uso particolari che possano attirare la mia attenzione: non consentono di ottenere dividenti, o upvotes, o accesso a feaures particolari che possano interessarmi.
Sembrerebbero due tokens come altri, interessanti soprattutto per chi ne condivide la tokenomics o il fine per cui sono stati creati - POB ad esempio ha una tokenomics molto interessante, che prevede un processo di emissione del token che ricalca quello di bitcoin, ma dipendente dalla proof of brain invece che dalla proof of mining.
La ragione per cui li possiedo però è un'altra e l'ho anticipata nel titolo di questo post: esiste infatti un modo per ottenere degli ottimi dividendi in HIVE accessibile a coloro che detengono questi tokens.
Quale?
Semplicissimo! Basta delegare i propri POB e/o BEE agli account @pob.voter - e non @pob.bank come avevo scritto: grazie @dstampede per la segnalazione! - e @bee.voter, entrambi collegati al progetto @helios.voter.
In cambio di questa delega si ottiene ogni settimana un dividendo in HIVE dall'importo particolarmente goloso, come potete vedere dai seguenti screenshots:
Se guardiamo al controvalore dei tokens che possiedo ed alla quantità di HIVE che ottengo si scopre che:
- delegare POB genera un APR del 100% circa
- delegare BEE genera un APR del 25% circa
Che dire, mi sembrano entrambe valide ragioni per accumulare questi tokens 😅... e voi che ne dite? Conoscevate questa possibilità?
