Hello Friends,
Source
No deck is weak and no card is small or useless in Splinterlands, because, every card has it's own unique way of contributing in the battle with one or the other rule sets.
The Community Engagement Challenge for this week allows us to write about the strategies we use or the decks we use in the battles and I am happy to share this lineup I mostly use for the little league battles like I did in this one.
Every battle is special and we can't win every battle, but keep trying is the mantra and that's how succeed here to earn the rewards and keep growing.
The moment we enter into a battle, we always try our best to use a tried and tested combination of summoner and monster which might have given us more wins!!!
The little league battles are always trickier ones with so many good monsters now available with 4 MANA cost and we need to be extra careful while selecting the monster and summoner combinations.
Here I am sharing One such combination with details as below:
Battle and Lineup:
https://splinterlands.com/battle/sl_30631eb8f366f5e685c28b3eff796b8f?ref=coolguy123
This battle we can consider as a low MANA cost battle as it had just 28 MAN cost cap and the rule set also was little league allowing monsters with 4 or less cost only to be used in the battle.
Now that made me to use Xenith Monk at the front and monsters as below in the lineup.
Lineup:
1. Xenith Monk:
An evergreen monster for the little league or low MANA cost cap battles like this one. Because, it has the healing ability and can also return magic and is also a monster with void magic abilities.
It has 4 speed and gives 2 meele attack in each round.
2. Halaran Huntress:
One of my favorites from the Rebellion rewards cards is this Halaran Huntress as it can give 4 melee attack in each round and is a charge ability monster and that means, inspite of being a melee attack monster, it can attack from any position.
3. Doctor Blight:
My long time favorite monster from Chaos legion edition and one of the best I would say for the little league battles as it is with scavenger ability and can camouflage itself from any attack.
It's additional abilities include, the poison throwing and also afflicting, means, stopping a monster from healing.
4. Fungus Flinger:
I think I have been using this monster in almost every battle since it's introduction, simply because, at 3 MANA cost, it can give 2 ranged attack, it can blindfold the opponent's monsters and an afflict besides martyring the adjacent monsters.
Blindfold makes the melee and ranged attack monsters to miss their attack and that will be a huge advantage in any battle.
5. Djinn Biljka:
Last but One monster in my lineup today is the camouflage monster of Djinn Biljka which is a magic attack monster and can give 3 or 4 magic attack unless there is a buff or debuff and I am happy to use along with Doctor Blight and these 2 can keep attacking the opponent's monsters.
6. Uraeus:
Lastly, I used Uraeus for the possible sneak attack.
This monster can throw poison on the monsters it attacks and it is a sneak attack ability monster and keeps attacking the last monster on the lineup.
This sneak attack monster with poison throwing ability is One of the most used monsters as it is from neutral category and is available for the battle most of the times.
That is what my lineup was and I can say I win most of the time with this lineup with 2 camouflage monster and 1 healing tank and couple of good melee attack monsters.
It's always a nice feeling to win each and every battle, because every battle is special in it's own way.
Opponent used Waka Spiritblade summoner which is with poison ability and it's one of the best summoners and I always end up on losing side against it, but I had my opportunity to win today as the monsters I used were better than those used by my opponent.
Here I share few screenshots of the battle.
As I said, Waka Spiritblade is One of the rare summoners which induces poison to all the monsters it summons and is very difficult to win against it and this win was a satisfying one for me and I am happy to share the same with you guys.
Thanking you all for all the support I always keep getting from you guys and I am happy to write blogs on these Splinterlands battles :)
Thanks and Have a good day :)
