Any win against higher ranked, that too the latest rebellion edition summoners will be a big win for me being with chaos legion edition summoners and monsters.
I had one such incident today as i got to battle against a player with nidhoggr summoner used and that too in a noxious fumes ruleset battle and i am happy that i could win that battle and would like to share it here.
Nidhoggr:
Nidhoggr as we all know by now, is a latest airdropped summoner from Rebellion edition and it is a summoner which costs 10 mana cost and provide so many abilities to the monsters it summons.
By default, it reduces the armor and health by 1 and also reduces the number of monsters we can use with 6 slots being available, but the ruleset of force reduction reduces the slots to 5.
Apart from these default ones, it also provides additional abilities to 3 monsters where, it can either provide blast and deathblow abilities or +2 speed and execute abilities.
So, if we are to fight against this summoner, we have to have strong lineup.

It wasn't an easy one against the summoner of Nidhoggr, but the noxious fumes ruleset made my job easy even though i used normal summoner in lobb lowland which enables a usage of a gladius monster and i was happy to use katrella gobson considering it dual attack and there was blast ruleset for this battle and i knew that with each monster removal, katrella gets increased stats and that should help it survive the poison it has to get due to noxious fumes ruleset.
So, with that information, i used a lineup with pelacor mercenary as my front monster as it is with healing ability.

As i mentioned above, i used this to utilize the healing ability it has and battle being low mana cost battle with just 22 mana cost available to use, it's always better to use a healing tank and pelacor mercenary was helpful in this battle win.
Fungus flinger:
Low mana cost means limited monsters and this fungus finger was best suited to be used along with a healing tank in the front and katrella gobson to follow it as blast ruleset was there and removal of this monster will increase the stats for front monster and katrella and it did it's job of that.
Katrella gobson:
This was the monster who di maximum damage with Nidhoggr summoner providing various abilities to the monsters it called, but still not able to go past katrella and it's increased stats with each monster it removed, made it helpful to remove all the monsters from opponent.
Fungus fiend:
Lastly, i used this zero mana cost monster as the 22 mana cost was utilized with summoner and first 3 monsters and this didn't have much role to play with just 1 health and got removed at the end of round 1.
The battle got completed in just 2 rounds and katrella gobson removed 2 of the 3 monsters opponent had used with it's blast ability and the noxious fumes or the Nidhoggr summoner could not stop it getting it's stats increased and play better and win the battle.
I now can confirm that, i always use katrella gobson over quora towershead in most of the battles.
The battles like this seems one sided, but if we compare the summoners, we can always feel that, these are not one sided battles and because of better monsters, the battle is won.
