Holla splinterlanders!

Happy new year splinters, Wishing ya'll a fantastic year ahead. Its very exciting saying Goodbye to 2024 and entering into a new begining of 2025. I played this game on new years eve. And am excited to share my strategies and what i got while playing

Ruleset

There aint no ruleset on this battle which means i aint tied to known. I went with 6 earth splinter including my summoner with a little bit of 1 neutral element to spice the mood. My opponent went with 7 death element.

Reason For Deck?

What attracted me using summoner Tofu was his costume, the xmas hat made him look like shrike. However another amazing fact is the unique goodies he brings with him. Like i always say a summoner should bring somethimg into the battle field. He should always be beneficial to his team or himself.

Tofu has alot of stats ranging from giving all friendly monsters +2health to Snare and thorns, It can either give Corrosive ward & Divine sheild to 3 unit Or give Traige and Scavenger to 1 unit. Actually what prompt me in picking this summoner is the Scavenger ability. I plan on giving it to just Queen Mycelia so that while backing up the tanker she can also be collecting the remains from the dead. If eventually she becomes the tanker she might have stacked up extra life to live long . "Long live the Queen"

I've seen alot of splinters use this monster for battle and when ask the reason why they always said because of his 10 health and his ability to evade 25%of physical attack. So i decided to choose him as my tanker because he has what it takes to lead.

I usually use Mycelic Slipspawn either as my tanker or goto tabker, to be frank this was my First time using Queen mycelic in battle despite the fact I've been a a secret admire for years. She has just 1 speed and 1 attack with an average life spawn, I've always think highy of this card.

Disintegrator has always be one of my favorite monster from the neutral element. And i love using it because it removes -1 Melee attack from all enemy monsters. This ability will be very beneficial especialy to those enemy team who has just melee attackers.

Fungus Flinger is also one of my favorite monster, I call this monster small but might, I usually prefer him working hand in hand with Katrelbal Gobson, but it seems that card is out of reach. However he did perfectly well alone.

One thing about choosing a monster is to always look out for its ability and what it does, how it can help in battle. With fungus when dead the monsters adjacent to it gains +1 to all stats.

I wanted to use Regal Peryton for this position, i figured to give Mercenary a Chance because i really havent used him in battle before. Since he posses similar ability with Regal peryton but different stats, they might be slight difference on the battle field. And that is just how it was

There must always be that backup monsters who draws in attention. And for this attention i decided to use Swell spore because with all attacks he makes he will never miss. However on second thought with my opponent having the sneak ability monster it targets just swell spore but swell spore resisted because of his high life span and attack.

You might rotate the monster has best fits you but keep in mind, "Range attack monsters cannot be used in the first and second position", so that leaves you with just Melee and magic attackers. For me the arrangement is super but feel free to adjust in any way or kind you like.
