It's time to evolve my Reward cards in Splinterlands and that means I'll be opening Loot Chests in the game to get more Reward cards.
In my opinion, Loot Chests are the best option in the reward store because I can get reward cards, energy and jackpots from them, while Rarity Draws will only get Reward cards.
If the choice is to only evolve Reward cards then Rarity Draws may be the best option, but I prefer Loot Chests since I can also get energy and jackpots, thus I can greatly increase my profit in the game.
I managed to accumulate 50,256 Glint and today I decided to open Major Chests, so I will be able to open 50 Major Chests with this amount of Glint that I accumulated.
This season I have already opened 35 Major Chests so after opening these 50 Major Chests I will be closer to my goal of opening 150 Major Chests.
Each Major Chest costs 1,000 Glint and has the following reward chances:
- 33% chance of getting Reward Cards.
- 30.9% chance of getting Potions.
- 26% chance of getting Merits.
- 10% chance of getting Energy.
- 0.01% chance of getting Jackpot.
My strategy when opening Loot Chests is to always use alchemy potions to increase my chances of getting Gold Foil cards, so I can burn them to get more Glint and open more Loot Chests.
Gold Foil cards are very useful in Splinterlands because they increase my earnings in ranked battles, but evolving them requires a much higher expenditure of Glint since they are not easily obtained and for this reason I prefer to focus only on regular cards and burn the Gold Foil cards.
Now let's see how my luck is and what rewards I will get by opening these 50 Major Chests.
I was hoping to get more energy with this amount of Major Chests but I can't complain because I've had worse results and unfortunately this time I didn't get my much desired jackpot. It's been months since I've played Splinterlands again and I've already opened thousands of Loot Chests, but it wasn't enough to get any jackpot so I must be very unlucky.
My luck with cards wasn't too bad and I got 1 epic card and 1 legendary card, as well as getting several cards that will be useful in my collection, so this result isn't too bad.
