STARDOM Play: My Investment Strategy and My Financial Investment Analysis After 29 Days of Play!
Stardom Play is an idle game built and developed on the Hive blockchain.
The theme of the game is cinema and the game mechanisms are very simple and require little time per day = few clicks per day.
Honestly when I saw the game I was a bit surprised because STARDOM Play is really very very similar to Rising Star that to call it a near copy is not wrong.
Precisely this similarity to Rising Star didn't make me start playing immediately because often copy games don't have a long life...
But Stardom Play exactly like Rising Star is a game that can be played in two modes:
- free to play
- play to earn
I started playing in the free to play mode and waited for the ability to make STARDOM token withdrawal to be activated to post content on this game.
Then I monitored the value of STARDOM tokens (the game's native tokens) for a few days and then decided to make an initial investment of 21.50 SWAP.HIVE to be able to progress faster within the game and to accumulate more rewards.
I started playing on Stardom Play on February 13, 2023, and so far I have published two posts about this game in which I shared my first impressions, my first purchases of NFTs, and my first financial evaluation.

My game progress
In 29 days, I reached the game level 15.
In the following image you can see my game statistics.
Thanks to my game level and stats, I can complete 5 missions out of 7 available.
In order to complete mission number 6 I have to increase the number of my Fans and for this reason today I decided to purchase a third NFT to meet the entry requirements of the Violent Towers mission, which requires 500 Fans while I only have 360 Fans.
My investment strategy
I consider idle games and farming games more as investments than games and the basic investment strategy I follow is always the same:
- phase 1: I invest and start collecting game rewards.
- phase 2: I sell game rewards to totally cover my initial investment and to turn the game from play-to earn to free-to-play
- phase 3: reached the break-even point only with the value of the rewards I use part of the rewards to progress in the game and part of the rewards to do Power Up on Hive
The timing of the transition from one phase to another depends on the change in the value of the tokens in the game in which I have invested.
I like to monitor at more or less fixed time cadences the value of the tokens of the games I have decided to invest in.
The STARDOM token is a second-level token on Hive's blockchain and can be sold, purchased, transferred and staked by one of Hive's second-level token DEXs such as Hive Engine, TribalDex and LeoDex.
Today March 4, 2023 1 STARDOM has a value of:
- 0.00044000 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0001835 (Lowest Ask).
- 0.00043000 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0001793 (Highest Bid)
In the following table you can see the difference in HIVE and dollar value of the STARDOM token in the time interval: February 13, 2023 - March 14, 2023.
Evaluation of my investment in Stardom Play
(After 29 days of play)
Every blockchain-based game becomes an investment for me at the moment when I decide to purchase assets (NFTs and tokens) using my liquidity outside the game.
In addition to the strategic and purely game aspects, I like to record the financial results connected to each blockchain-based game in which I play.
Total Investment Cost
In the table below you can see the calculation of the total cost of my investment on Stardom Play which has been 21.50 SWAP.HIVE = $9.11 to date.
TOTAL VALUE NFTs + REWARDS
In the table below, I calculated the total market value of the NFTs I purchased (lowest price among the possible payment methods) and the STARDOM tokens I accumulated from my gaming activity after 29 days by considering the Highest Bid value.
The total value of Stardom Play assets in my possession is 30.02 SWAP.HIVE = $12.52.
Calculation of PROFIT and ROI
With the data I have collected, I can calculate the financial results (Profit and ROI) of my gaming activity and my investment on Stardom Play.
In 29 days I achieved:
- a Profit of 8.52 SWAP.HIVE = $3.55
- a ROI of +39.63%
Only considering the total value of the rewards I have obtained to date I have covered 42.62% of the total cost of my investment.
My last NFT purchased
On Stardom play I am in phase 1 of my investment strategy, and today I purchased an NFT from the vehicle category to increase the number of fans so that I could carry out mission number 6 (Violent Towers).
I decided to purchase the NFT TR3 Street Racer because it had the best cost/fan ratio.
I chose STARDOM tokens as the method of payment because it was the most convenient method of purchase compared to purchasing using SWAP.HIVE tokens (11,286 HIVE VS 18 SWAP.HIVE).
With the rewards I will accumulate over the next days, I will evaluate the purchase of additional 2 Boosters Hamburgher to have more energy available = more missions that can be completed per day.

STARDOM Play: La mia strategia d'investimento e l'analisi finanziaria del mio investimento dopo 29 giorni di gioco
Stardom Play è un idle game costruito e sviluppato sulla blockchain di Hive.
Il tema del gioco è il cinema e i meccanismi di gioco sono molto semplici e richiedono poco tempo al giorno = pochi click al giorno.sono molto simili ad un'altro gioco hive-based che è Rising Star a cui gioco dal 2020.
Sinceramente quando ho visto il gioco sono rimasto un pò sorpreso perchè STARDOM Play è davvero molto molto simile a Rising Star che definirlo una quasi copia non è sbagliato.
Proprio questa similarità con Rising Star non mi ha fatto iniziare subito a giocare perchè spesso i giochi copia non hanno vita lunga...
Ma Stardom Play proprio come Rising Star è un gioco che può essere giocato in due modalità:
- free to play
- play to earn
Ho iniziato a giocare in modalità free to play e ho aspettato che fosse attivata la possibilità di fare il prelievo dei token STARDOM per pubblicare contenuti su questo gioco.
Ho monitorato per qualche giorno il valore dei token STARDOM (i token nativi del gioco) e poi ho deciso di fare un investimento iniziale di 21.50 SWAP.HIVE per poter progredire più velocemente all'interno del gioco e per accumulare un maggior numero di ricompense.
Ho iniziato a giocare su Stardom Play il 13 febbraio 2023 e fino ad ora ho pubblicato due post su questo gioco in cui ho condiviso le mie prime impressioni, i miei primi aquisti di NFTs e la mia prima valutazione finanziaria.

I miei progressi di gioco
In 29 giorni ho raggiunto il livello di gioco 15
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le mie statistiche di gioco.
Grazie al mio livello di gioco e alle mie statistiche posso completare 5 missioni su 7 disponibili.
Per svolgere la missione numero 6 devo aumentare il numero dei miei Fans e per questo motivo oggi ho deciso di acquistare un terzo NFT per soddisfare i requisiti di ingresso della missione Violent Towers che richiede 500 Fans mentre io ho solo 360 Fans.
La mia strategia di investimento
Considero gli idle games e i farming games più degli investimenti che dei giochi e la strategia d'investimento di base che seguo è sempre la stessa:
- fase 1: investo e inizio a raccogliere le ricompense di gioco
- fase 2: vendo le ricompense di gioco per coprire totalmente il mio investimento iniziale e trasformare il gioco da un play-to earn ad un free to play
- fase 3: raggiunto il punto di break-even utilizzo parte delle ricompense per progredire nel gioco e parte delle ricompense per fare Power Up su Hive
La tempistica del passaggio da una fase ad un'altra dipende dall'andamento del valore dei tokens del gioco in cui ho investito.
Mi piace monitorare a cadenze temporali più o meno fisse il valore dei token dei giochi in cui ho deciso di investire.
Il token STARDOM è un token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive e può essere venduto, acquistato, trasferito e messo in stake da uno dei DEX dei token di secondo livello di Hive come ad esempio Hive Engine, TribalDex e LeoDex.
Oggi 4 marzo 2023 1 STARDOM ha un valore di:

Valutazione del mio investimento su Stardom Play

Ogni gioco basato su blockchain diventa anche un investimento nel momento in cui decido di acquistare assets (NFTs e tokens) utilizzando la mia liquidità esterna al gioco.
Oltre agli aspetti strategici e puramente di gioco mi piace tenere traccia dei risultati finanziari collegati ad ogni gioco basato su blockchain in cui gioco.
Total Investment Cost
Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere il calcolo del costo totale del mio investimento su Stardom Play che è stato fino ad oggi di 21.50 SWAP.HIVE = 9.11$.
TOTAL VALUE NFTs + REWARDS
Nella tabella seguente ho calcolato il valore totale di mercato degli NFTs che ho acquistato (prezzo più basso tra i metodi di pagamento possibili) e dei token STARDOM che ho accumulato dalla mia attività di gioco dopo 29 giorni considerarndo il valore Highest Bid.
Il valore totale degli assets di Stardom Play in mio possesso è di 30.02 SWAP.HIVE = 12.52$.
Calcolo del PROFIT e del ROI
Con i dati che ho raccolto posso calcolare i risultati finanziari (Profit e ROI) della mia attività di gioco e del mio investimento su Stardom Play.
In 29 giorni ho ottenuto:
- un Profit di 8.52 SWAP.HIVE = 3.55$
- un ROI del +39.63%
Solo considerando il valore totale delle ricompense che ho ottenuto fino ad oggi ho coperto il 42.62% del costo totale del mio investimento.
Il mio ultimo NFT acquistato
Su Stardom play sono nella fase 1 della mia strategia di investimento e oggi ho acquistato un NFT della categoria veicoli per aumentare il numero dei fans in modo da poter svolgere la missione numero 6 (Violent Towers).
Ho deciso di acquistare l'NFT TR3 Street Racer perchè aveva il miglior rapporto costo/fan.
Per l'acquisto ho scelto come metodo di pagamento i token STARDOM perchè era il metodo di acquisto più conveniente rispetto all'acquisto utilizzando i token SWAP.HIVE (11.286 HIVE VS 18 SWAP.HIVE).
Con le ricompense che accumulerò nei prossimi giorni valuterò l'acquisto di altri 2 Boosters Hamburgher per avere a disposizione una maggiore energia = maggior numero di missioni completabili al giorno.
Quanto tempo occorrerà al mio investimento per essere coperto totalmente dal valore delle ricompense in STARDOM token?
