Hello everyone, today I will explain the new Ambassador program in Splinterlands, this is the program that replaced the old affiliate program of the game and now you will be able to earn more rewards when you invite new people to Splinterlands.
The Ambassador Program started on December 10th, so from that period onwards those who joined using your referral link will be counted in the program.
To access your referral link you just need to go to the tool in the top corner of the game next to your name and click on Ambassador Status.
After clicking on Ambassador Status you will be directed to the page in the image above and all you need to do is copy your referral link.
The benefits of the Ambassador program are divided into 2 levels: Silver and Gold.
To be at the Silver level you need to refer at least 1 friend, this means that at least 1 account has to be created in the game using your referral link.
The benefits of Silver tier are:
You and your friends earn 500 credits each when you purchase a Spellbook.
Earn 5% of your friends' End of Season Glint rewards.
The 5% End of Season Glint rewards earned by your friends is capped at 100% of your End of Season Glint rewards. Let's say you earned 50,000 Glint at the End of Season, this means that the limit of Glint you can earn from your referrals is 50,000 Glint.
To explain it better, I will use the following example: Your account earned 50,000 Glint at the end of the season and you have 10 referrals who earned 200,000 Glint at the end of the season. You will receive 5% of Glint from each referral, which would be 20,000 Glint. The total you would receive is 100,000 Glint. However, since your earnings at the end of the season were only 50,000 Glint, your earnings from referrals will only be 50,000 Glint.
Remember that the 5% is not deducted from your friends' earnings; they receive 100% of the Glint earned.
To reach the Gold level, you need to refer at least 10 friends and they need to spend at least US$100 on purchases (through primary, secondary or rental markets).
The benefits of the Gold level are:
All the benefits of the Silver level.
Earn a 5% bonus for all packs your friends purchase.
Earn 1% of your friends transactions on peer-to-peer markets.
The 1% earned on transactions is eligible for: purchases and rentals made in-game and on supported third-party sites, and only applies to packs from the most recent set purchased in the in-game store.
The minimum payout is 0.001 DEC* per transaction (smaller amounts are rounded to zero).
Bonus is paid in DEC.
A Spellbook is required to earn DEC.
These are great benefits and compared to the old affiliate program, this one is much better and I believe it will greatly encourage players to invite their friends to Splinterlands.

Another detail of the new Ambassador program is that it has a ranking list.
You don't get paid for the ranking list and it only serves to show those who have invited the most people with the Ambassador program.
