In my last post I talked about my first participation in Brawls in Splinterlands. When I used to play the game, Guild Brawls only had merits as rewards for players and I didn't find that very appealing at the time because I thought that Gladius Cards would only be used in Brawls and not in ranked battles, I was deeply wrong.
Now that I've returned to Splinterlands I discovered that in addition to Gladius Cards being used in ranked battles, Brawls also reward players with SPS, so I didn't think twice and requested to several guilds in the hope that some of them would accept me, but I was a bit greedy and only requested to guilds that participated in Tier 4 Brawls because I wanted to earn a large amount of SPS as a reward. To be honest I didn't know how much SPS it would be because I'd never participated before but since Brawls and Tier 4 are the second highest Tier for Brawls I imagined it would be a large amount.
Today the results came out and for those who saw my previous post, you know how I started off badly and had 3 losses right at the beginning. My hope of getting a good result for my guild was fading but after all the battles were completed I realized that my performance wasn't that bad because I managed to get 3 wins for my guild.
This is a small result since I still got 5 wins but I don't think it was that bad for my first Brawl, especially because I don't have any Gladius Cards so veteran players have a good advantage over me.
Even with my low performance our guild still got the fifth position in the ranking among 9 guilds so the overall result wasn't bad and even being in that position we still earned 75 SPS, I imagine that the first place must earn much more and I can't wait for my guild to reach that position one day and see how many SPS I would receive, but for that I need to improve my performance in Brawls.
I intended to open Gladius Cases today and finally receive my first Gladius Cards, but I realized that it is only possible to use the guild store after 7 days in the guild. In my case, I joined less than a week ago, so I still have 2 days left to access it. But the good news is that I will be able to open Gladius Cases before the next Brawl, so I will have some Gladius Cards for the battles.
See the Battle
This was the most fun battle I had in this Brawl. To be honest, I didn't expect to win it because my opponent had the shaky Quora Towershead and also a good combination of cards, but after seeing how the battle unfolded, I realized that my strategy was superior and I managed to win.
