The first day of the month is HPUD or hive power-up day. Today is September 1st, and it is hive power-up day. On this day we are supposed to power up whatever amount is possible because each count matters. If everyone participates in the community then it will surely make a big difference and whatever people participate in is also good for the hive token economy. It's a community event which means individuals cannot make a difference but together we can surely make a difference if we power up more. By powering up we are reducing the liquid supply from the market and this works well for the coin value.
I have powered Up
Today I participated in this event by powering up 150 HIVE. These days I am trying to go my HP holding and for this reason, I have been publishing my all posts with 100% power up. With 100% power-up options I make the process automated through which I get the reward in hp only and no liquid hbd. I believe that this time is good to grow the HP balance and this is why I prefer posting with 100% reward in HP instead of liquid coins.
My Hive Power Balance
After the power-up, I have 25624 Hive Power in my account. Last month I was able to reach my 25K HP milestone and it was one of the biggest achievements that I have done after 5 years. I started my journey in 2019 and now in 2020 four4 I have achieved 25k HP. This is a very big amount for me and I know that how much effort I have put in to reach here wherever I am but this journey is for the long term so I will continue to accumulate in the coming years. I believe that investing in Hive is for the long term and I invest more time to earn and accumulate more HP. I'm not dependent upon rewards for my daily expenses and whatever I'm doing is for the long term because I believe after a few years this holding is going to be more valuable. Once it becomes more valuable then it will be a source of passive income for me and I don't know whether I will be able to stay active with post creation or not.
Now because I have reached 25k hive power my next goal is 50,000 hive power. For this next goal, I have not set up any timeline but I will continue to follow my goal and I am sure that in the next few years, I should be able to do this. The journey from scratch to 25,000 hive power has not been easy but I hope it will not be that much stuff which I have already gone through. HP holding is the most valuable component on this platform and it is something that everyone wants to have more. It's like the more we have makes us feel like having even more and there is no end because it can never be sufficient in our wallet. I will continue to power up like this and whenever I see the opportunity will follow the 100% power-up posting option that also helps to grow HP faster.
