There are so many assets in the splinterlands game and SPS is one of the tokens in the game. There are so many other assets also in the game that can be in the form of booster packs cards and much more but I would say that sps is still an asset in the game that is worth accumulating more. It's a governance token of the game and if you are aware of the governance part of the project then you would know what use case it brings and what could be the value of the token from the governance point of view.
I have purchased over 500 tokens today and I am going to take all these tokens right away because I think it's always good to power up. Although it is not called power up in the game it is called staking which is a different term. So here I am to add all these liquid tokens to my holding and once this is done then I will start earning some APR which should always be the case because keeping tokens in liquid form does not earn anything.
Now since I have added all these liquid tokens to my balance currently I have over 56K SPS tokens in my game account. You might say that the USD value for these tokens is very low which is true because the price is low in the market. There was a time when my initial holding was much more than this but now things are completely different. In the Crypto market, a few things do not work the way we want and maybe sps can be considered as one of those examples.
I still believe that SPS has potential and we can see some value appreciation over the period. I believe this because the team is working to bring more value to the ecosystem and if you believe in the game then now can be a good time to accumulate more assets including the tokens you never know if this investment that you are doing today might turn up to be even more valuable and way more profitable as far as returns on the investment are concerned.
I will continue to accumulate more SPS and as of now, I am hoping that I will be able to make it 60K very soon. This is the goal that I have been chasing for quite some time and looks like the current market opportunity will help me achieve it sooner than I think I am glad that things are in process but will be very happy once I achieve the milestone.
The current value for the token is not even $0.01 but still, you can see that there is some recovery on the price. This time the altcoin market is not doing great but Bitcoin is not bad so we can expect that once the altcoin market starts improving then possibly we can also see some more value coming to the SPS token. It's like we need to wait for the right time and now is not the time to sell instead it is the time to buy more and be ready for the bull run cycle that we are expecting soon which can be in the next year.
