Sometimes you come across things that catch your attention. Lately I've been enjoying a lot of finance videos circulating on YouTube and yesterday I came across one that struck me.
Usually we don't talk about "games" on that channel and it gave me the idea not to talk badly about it, so I convinced myself to watch it.
And I discovered Hamster Kombat.
What is Hamster Kombat?
Hamster Kombat is a play-to-earn “tap” game hosted on Telegram. The goal is to build a crypto empire by starting with a basic hamster and improving it through the use of in-game tokens. It's a classic increasing game, where you grow with the sole aim of increasing your earnings.
There are many, but this one has a peculiarity: it risks entering the Guinness World Record.
The exponential growth in downloads of this Telegram App (technically a Bot) was so rapid that it was able to afford a podium together with Threads and Pokemon Go, carving out a user base of 150 million players (in-depth analysis [here](https://cointelegraph .com/news/hamster-kombat-guinness-world-record-200m-users) ).
What is attracting interest about this project is the promise of an Airdrop of HMSTR tokens arriving in July based on game results. This reward will be released on the TON chain, so to speak, the Telegram chain.
If you think about the spread of Telegram and the fact that if you already have an account you can start playing straight away, you understand that you immediately say "but yes, why not try it?"

Anyone who has ever tried an increasing game immediately understands how it works. For now the earnings are non-existent, the coins we earn are not real, but everything is based on the expectation that one day we can convert them into a token on the TON network.
How do you support the game?
Here lies the cunning and luck of those who designed it. Every day, among the daily tasks there are a couple of special rewards linked to watching YouTube videos. In the usual "games" they are usually advertising videos.
Not here.
They are interesting and well-made informative and informative videos on cryptocurrencies which are published on the game's official Youtube channels.
The official channel has 32.2 million subscribers with an average of 15 million views per video. We are talking about more than €150,000 in revenue from YouTube per day. Only for the main channel (there are many localized channels, yes also Italian, for a few days).
Why not?
This is not a game on the Hive network, but it is a rather particular phenomenon, of enormous relevance and diffusion and with some characteristics that make me curious about its outcome.
All or at least many of us have Telegram, so no further registration is required other than accessing the game bot.
Playing is very simple and requires very little effort. The rumors speak of an Airdrop in July, so we still have time to try to get a foot in the door and see what happens, even just to participate in this strange collective event.

Ciò che riscuote interesse su questo progetto è la promessa dell'arrivo a Luglio di un Airdrop di token HMSTR sulla base dei risultati di gioco. Questa ricompensa verrà rilasciata sulla chain TON, per capirci, quella di Telegram.
Se pensate alla diffusione di Telegram e il fatto che se hai già un account puoi iniziare a partire a giocare da subito, capite bene che viene da dire subito "ma si, perchè non provarlo?"
Come giocare a Hamster Kombat
- Crea un account Telegram e accedi al bot Hamster Kombat;
- Completa la registrazione seguendo le istruzioni sullo schermo;
- Tap (tocca) per guadagnare: l’azione base coinvolge il tocco su un criceto digitale per minare monete Hamster;
- Aggiorna il tuo exchange in gioco: usa le monete guadagnate per potenziare il tuo exchange di criptovalute virtuale;
- Partecipa ai Combo Giornalieri: investi in aggiornamenti specifici ogni giorno per guadagnare 5MM di monete giornaliere (puoi trovare vari canali, anche telegram, che giornalmente ti rivelano la combo del giorno);

Chiunque abbia mai provato un increasing game capisce subito come funziona. Per ora i guadagni sono inesistenti, le monete che guadagniamo non sono reali, ma tutto si basa sull'aspettativa che un giorno si possa convertirle in un token sulla rete TON.
Come si sostiene il gioco?
Qui sta la furbizia e la fortuna di chi l'ha progettato. Ogni giorni, tra le daily task si trovano un paio di ricompense speciali legate al vedere dei video youtube. Nei soliti "giochini" di solito sono video pubblicitari.

Sono dei video divulgativi e di informazione sulle cryptovalute interessanti e ben realizzati che sono pubblicati sui canali Youtube ufficiali del gioco.
Il canale ufficiale ha 32,2 milioni di iscritti con una media di 15 Milioni di visualizzazioni per video. Parliamo di più di 150.000 € di ricavi da youtube al giorno. Solo per il canale principale (ci sono molti canali localizzati, si anche Italiano,da qualche giorno).
Perchè no?
Questo non è un gioco su rete Hive, ma è un fenomeno abbastanza particolare, di enorme rilevanza e diffusione e con alcune caratteristiche che mi fanno essere curioso circa il suo esito.
Tutti o comunque in molti, abbiamo Telegram, per cui non viene richiesta una registrazione ulteriore se non accedere al bot del gioco.
Giocare è molto semplice e richiede pochissimo impegno. Le indiscrezioni parlano di un Airdrop a Luglio, per cui siamo in tempo per provare comunque a metterci un piedino dentro e vedere cosa succede, anche solo per partecipare a questo strano evento collettivo.
Non ci sono investimenti, quindi il rischio è azzerato, per ora è solo gioco, quindi perchè non provarlo e vedere cosa succede? Io lo sto provando, se va male, non ho perso nulla (se non, il non aver giocato ad un altro giochino).
