On Saturday night, given the heat and the absence of commitments, I had thought of dedicating myself a little to playing on the PC.
I'm a player with difficult tastes, I know. Since I discovered online games as a boy, only in some sporadic cases have I been able to play offline games.
Not only that, since I discovered mmorpg, always many years ago, I hardly dedicate myself to other games.
Guild Wars and Guikd Wars 2 have been for years my bread and butter on the pc.
But the other night I wanted something different. I wanted to try some new games, but I didn't know which one. My pc is about a dozen years old and I had built it on purpose for Guild Wars 2, so it's not too performing. I tried to look for some free2play mmorpg to try but I had a hard time choosing.
Too dispersive
Too complex
Too Asian
Too stingy
Too heavy
Etc. Eventually I downloaded Black Desert Online, but I played it maybe half an hour because I soon found it vast, complex and noisy.
Maybe the truth is that I've changed. I live in the memory of when I was a boy I had a lot of time to devote to games and I could devote myself to it with passion and transport, investing hours and hours and feeling competitive.
Now I don't have time to do it and I live a little in the frustration of not feeling that way anymore.
Maybe here on Hive we will find someone for a title to recommend to me. Come on video gamers, do you have any advice to give me? A good online mmorpg, maybe one you've tried and liked?
Sabato sera, visto il caldo e l’assenza di impegni, avevo pensato di dedicarmi un po’ a giocare al pc.
Sono un giocatore dai gusti difficili, lo so. Da quando da ragazzo ho scoperto i giochi online, solo in alcuni sporadici casi sono riuscito a giocare a dei giochi offline.
Non solo, da quando ho scoperto i mmorpg, sempre tanti anni fa, difficilmente mi dedico ad altri giochi.
Guild Wars e Guikd Wars 2 sono stati per anni il mio pane e burro al pc.
Ma l’altra sera volevo qualcosa di diverso. Volevo provare qualche gioco nuovo, ma non sapevo quale. Il mio pc ha una dozzina d’anni e lo avevo costruito apposta per Guild Wars 2, quindi non è troppo performante. Ho provato a cercare qualche mmorpg free2play da provare ma ho avuto difficoltà a scegliere.
Troppo dispersivo

Troppo grindoso
Troppo pesante
Eccetera. Alla fine ho scaricato Black Desert Online, ma ci ho giocato forse mezz’ora perché ben presto l’ho trovato vasto, complesso e chiassoso.
Forse la verità è che sono cambiato io. Vivo nel ricordo di quando ragazzo avevo molto tempo da dedicare ai giochi e potevo dedicarmici con passione e trasporto, investendoci ore ed ore e sentendomi competitivo.
Ora invece non ho il tempo per farlo e vivo un po’ nella frustrazione di non sentirmi più così.
Magari qui su Hive qualcuno per un titolo da consigliarmi lo troviamo. Forza videogiocatori, avete qualche consigli da darmi? Un buon mmorpg online, magari uno che avete provato e vi è piaciuto?
