In my city I organized a small evening theater review. For every Thursday in July, the students of the school where I teach have the opportunity to perform in front of the public and gain experience on stage.
The students appreciate it, the audience is usually quite good (both in terms of turnout and willingness to see debutants), the place that hosts us is satisfied and makes the bar go a bit.
For the school it is an opportunity to make itself known.
In short, everyone is happy.
But something small like this requires a huge planning, organizational and field effort. Contact everyone, agree on the formats, agree with the structure, find the technical material, print the posters (and have them done), write the press releases and then assemble, connect, welcome, etc etc etc. in short, a great job.
All this with the heat and humidity that characterizes the low season this season.
But in the end, the satisfaction is great, the smiles too and the awareness of having created something that wasn't there before gives an indescribable emotion.
That's what I hold on to on Friday mornings when the alarm goes off. LOL
Nella mia città ho organizzato una piccola rassegna teatrale serale. Per tutti i giovedì di luglio, gli studenti della scuola dove insegno, hanno la possibilità di esibirsi davanti al pubblico e fare esperienza di palco.
Gli studenti apprezzano, il pubblico di solito è abbastanza buono (sia come affluenza che come disponibilità a vedere degli esordienti), il posto che ci ospita è soddisfatto che fa andare un po’ il bar.
Per la scuola è una occasione di farsi conoscere.
Insomma, tutti contenti.
Ma una cosa piccola come questa richiedere un enorme sforzo progettuale, organizzativo e sul campo. Contattare tutti, concordare i format, accordarsi con la struttura, reperire il materiale tecnico, stampare le locandine (e fare fare), scrivere i comunicati stampa e poi montare, collegare, accogliere, etc etc etc. insomma un gran lavoro.
Tutto questo con il caldo e l’umido che caratterizza la bassa in questa stagione.
Ma alla fine, la soddisfazione è tanta, i sorrisi pure e la consapevolezza di aver creato qualcosa che prima non c’era da una emozione indescrivibile.
È a quello che mi aggrappo, il venerdì mattina, quando suona la sveglia. LOL
