Greetings, my dear Splinterlands friend.
I hope all of you are having a great time in the Splinterlands. I am also playing the game on a regular basis. I entered the Diamond League a long time after the Modern and Wild Format was introduced. Also, it is quite interesting for me to place among the top 800 in the rating list, which is quite high for me. I think many players have stopped playing; otherwise, my decks and strategy are not so developed to enter into the Diamond League as I am still missing a lot of max-level cards in my collection. As part of the "Splinterlands Community Engagement Program," I'm writing this blog post today on the "Splinterlands Social Media Challenge." In this post, I will talk about how I am utilizing my decks to play in the Diamond League with higher rewards. I hope the blog will be helpful for relatively new players in their Splinterlands journey to the next level.
As we all know, Splinterlands is a competitive game; you need to have the right cards to win, which can sometimes cost you a lot. You also need to understand every detail about all the cards, combos, and strategies of the game to earn more and make your journey profitable. Every battle in the game has real value, whether you're looking for reward cards, DEC(Dark Energy Crystals), or stack SPS (Splintershards). So, winning a battle is very important to climb high in the rating and enter into the higher leagues for higher rewards.
It is very important to climb up to a higher rating as the unlocking rewards in the higher ratings are so much higher than in the lower leagues. For example, my Diamond League 3 unlocking rewards were 10 MINOR chests, 7 MAJOR chests and 1 Ultimate Chest. Normally, if you want to buy them, then you need to spend a solid amount of Glint tokens, but unlocking the higher leagues, you are getting them for completely free. In my next league, I want to unlock Diamond 2, which will be unlocked at the rating of 3100, which is quite difficult for them, but I will try my best to grab the rewards, which are so amazing.
For calculation purposes, the reward in unlocking Diamond 3 is worth 30010+71000+4500 = 3000+7000+4500 = 14500 Glint tokens, and I will get another chest from each category at the unlocking of Diamond 2 league at the rating of 3100. And that will be at the value of glint tokens is 3300+8000+9000 = 20300 Glint tokens. So, you can realize how beneficial to rank higher leagues for better rewards from these loot chests. So, what are the rewards I have pulled from my reward chests, have a looking the following figures.
However, some of the chests were not good as I had gotten so much energy this time. But most of my Legendary and Epics rewards cards are from these loot chests, not from direct buying from the glint shop. So, it is very necessary for you to grab as many as chests possible by ranking at the higher rating in the leaderboard.
Some useful Tips For Higher Rating
It is true that the most important thing to climbing higher leagues is to learn the tactics with the new cards that were introduced recently and the strong deck that is the main factor to win your battle. I have already discussed the reward maximization in Splinterlands, which can help you with some more tips regarding proper gameplay, which can be read from this link. I am also putting some of the most important ones here also from that article and adding some more that are more important for more ratings in the game with more trophies. So, it is very necessary to be more careful to consider the following tips while enjoying your Splinterlands time and want to climb up in the leaderboard with higher ratings and greater rewards.
Moving up the ranked ladder is a great thing for higher rewards as higher ranks mean more SPS per win with more Glint bonuses. For that choose a better time according to your time zone when the bigger players are not active. I have found some specific times when I get relatively easier teams; you have to search for that to increase your win ratio.
Take part in Guild Brawls. You can use the Merits you earn from these battles to buy Gladius Cases to get some stronger gladiator cards. These cards can make your decks unbeatable sometimes, and add more cards to build your team.
Rent max-level cards if you don't have many more cards. But avoid renting too much without proper planning. If you rent too many cards, it can cut into your earnings. So, only rent cards that make it much more likely for you to win.
For renting cards, rent for two days and finish all your energies and stop renting two days to fill your energy and finish them in the next two days renting. In this alternating way, you can reduce your renting cost to half. It will work perfectly if you work with proper planning.
Learn new strategies, as using old tactics will cost you wins. Join community groups to stay up to date on the meta and new strategies.
