Heraklion is very warm, in many places of the city you will need a hat and for sure a bottle of water if you are walking during the day in the summertime.
Even so, I admit that I take pleasure in exploring an .. empty city.
Empty because everyone is either at work or at the sea. So most of the people do not walk the small streets.
The tourists are usually in the city center, but I take all the little roads and try to discover undiscovered parts. So that I can show them to the world and inspire them to do the same with their own place.
I remember a few days ago someone told me...
There are so many places I have not yet visited in Crete .. and when I told him that there are also places I wish to visit in the island - he said "There are also places in Tuscany (where I live) that I have not yet visited!"
So let's get out, let's explore, let's discover and lets be happy!
