Weekends are supposed to be fun and active, and today, we got the whole package for that. The outdoor temperature was 23 degrees Celsius, and there was plenty of sun. Although Disneyland is not actually in town, during the tourist season, which begins around May 1st, it feels like it is. Many new faces come to town, including thousands of tourists and businesspeople looking to make money.
The first picture in this post depicts a popular money-making business that is often seen in my hometown. An inflatable slide with the shape and colors of a Disneyland castle is a great attraction for kids. You won't find anything bigger than this in town, and a 15-minute ride costs about $10.
That's a lot of money for a kid, but not that much for a parent who wants to see their child happy. I learned these details from a friend of mine who took his daughter there today.
The daughter is featured in the second and third photos of this post. Her parents are involved with a boat cruise business and were quite busy today, so she stayed under my care for a few good hours. She asked for ice cream in the morning, and I had to take her to a supermarket to buy her favorite kind. We paid the equivalent of 2.5 HBD for a six-pack.
I didn't eat any of the ice cream; she and her parents did. While we were out, I took a bunch of photos with some pigeons getting close to us and a funny-painted bus too. All shots were taken in portrait mode with my smartphone.
That's about it for today from my side. I wish you all a great day, and I'll see you next time.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
