I thought I'd post a couple of photos of Chester cat asleep.
He gets into the silliest positions ! This was him on the sofa asleep right next to me. It's undignified, but I guess it shows he is comfortable and trusts me.
He's an unusual sort of cat, because he actually likes tummy rubs. All the other cats we've had would rather work on the "tummy trap" principle; they'll show off their luxurious underside fur, and then try to claw and bite your hand off if you fall for the temptation.
After giving us a terrible scare by going missing for nearly two weeks, I think he has realised that this is his home, and he is safe here, as well as getting good food. He's the gentlest, best natured snugglebunny of a cat I've ever known, and hasn't once lashed out or hissed at us. Plus he and Duncan (our other cat) have a complete bromance going on, in no time they've become totally bonded to each other - it's so sweet watching them chill out or play together !
