La nostalgia a veces se hace sentir y más si es por la distancia, que evita compartir cara a cara con nuestros seres queridos. Así que en esta ocasión quise suavizar ese estado haciendo un detalle para alguien especial, que lamentablemente tiene más de 4 años sin poder acariciar, ni jugar con su perrito. Entonces, tomé mi block de dibujos, lápiz y acuarelas y me puse manos a la obra.
Para el diseño elegí una fotografía que él mismo le había tomado a su perrito Loki. Sé que fue algo osado de mi parte, porque él conoce muy bien la imagen y a su compañero peludo, además que nunca he pintado un perrito así, pero como dicen por ahí lo importante es la intención, jaja.
Para mí lo mejor fue cuando lo vio, porque aún yo no lo había terminado, y le reconoció enseguida, sus ojitos se llenaron de lágrimas y decía "mi Loki", con mucha alegría.
Dar un detalle como símbolo de amor, un detalle que lleva tiempo y un poco de nosotros mismos, es algo que puede hacer que una sonrisa crezca. Aprovechemos nuestras habilidades y lenguajes del amor para llevarle un rayito de luz.

Nostalgia sometimes makes itself felt and even more if it is because of the distance, which prevents us from sharing face to face with our loved ones. So on this occasion I wanted to soften that state by making a detail for someone special, who unfortunately has more than 4 years without being able to caress or play with his dog. So, I took my sketchbook, pencil and watercolors and got down to work.
For the design I chose a photograph that he had taken of his dog Loki. I know it was a bit daring on my part, because he knows the image and his furry companion very well, plus I've never painted a dog like that, but as they say the important thing is the intention, haha.
For me the best thing was when he saw it, because I had not finished it yet, and he recognized him immediately, his eyes filled with tears and he said "my Loki", with great joy.
Giving a detail as a symbol of love, a detail that takes time and a little bit of ourselves, is something that can make a smile grow. Let's take advantage of our skills and love languages to bring her a ray of light.
