Disfrutando entre colores y canciones

Los días pasan y cada día voy aprendiendo un poco más sobre la cultura en Argentina. El día de ayer fue algo diferente y quise aprovechar unos momentos para salir a caminar y conocer algunos lugares de esta hermosa ciudad. Creo caminé algunos kilómetros porque sin pensarlo cada espacio de esta linda ciudad va enamorando y a cada paso que daba, uno se puede encontrar un lugar más bonito que otro.

Este paseo estuve de visita en el centro comercial Devoto y al salir me encontré con este espectáculo que al investigar resulta que es una Murga Argentina y es la forma cómo se caracteriza a las agrupaciones formada principalmente por un grupo de amigos del barrio, esta Murga del del barrio villa de voto y se reúnen para cantar y presentar actuaciones en carnavales y también en otro tipo de fiestas donde se requiera. Su origen está asociado con la época colonial, resultando de la mezcla cultural entre esclavos, aborígenes y colonizadores. A lo largo del tiempo, la murga ha sido una manifestación artística que refleja la identidad y la crítica social de las comunidades donde se presenta.

Por lo anterior, dentro de su canto se puede escuchar de forma repetida la oración de cultura popular, al principio no lo entendía, pero luego de conversar con algunos amigos compartir algunas ideas, entendí un poco más de la historia, de su colorido traje y de su danza, todo en conjunto hicieron un momento muy agradable y alegre. Espero en los próximos días continuar conociendo otras Murgas.

Enjoying colors and songs

Days go by and every day I learn a little more about the culture in Argentina. Yesterday was something different and I wanted to take advantage of a few moments to go out for a walk and see some places in this beautiful city. I think I walked a few kilometers because without thinking about it, every space in this beautiful city falls in love and with every step I take, one can find a place more beautiful than another.

This walk I visited the Devoto shopping center and when I left I found this show that when I investigated it turns out to be an Argentine Murga and it is the way in which groups formed mainly by a group of friends from the neighborhood are characterized, this Murga is from the Villa de Voto neighborhood and they meet to sing and present performances at carnivals and also at other types of parties where required. Its origin is associated with the colonial era, resulting from the cultural mix between slaves, aborigines and colonizers. Throughout time, the murga has been an artistic manifestation that reflects the identity and social criticism of the communities where it is presented.

Therefore, within their song you can repeatedly hear the popular culture prayer, at first I didn't understand it, but after talking with some friends to share some ideas, I understood a little more about the story, their colorful costume and their dance, all together they made for a very pleasant and joyful moment. I hope to continue meeting other Murgas in the coming days.
