Even though I have been living in Shenzhen for nearly 8 years, there are many places where I never been to so far. The main reason is that I don’t have my own car, you know, I am kinda lazy person, I don’t like to wait for the bus or squeeze with the other in the train. That’s why I mainly stay home during weekend no matter in pre-covid or post-covid periods.
Recently my brother in law doesn’t use his car too often after he has bought his scooter, I have a chance to borrow his car to drive now. This Sunday I took his wife and kid together to drive, it’s so good there’s nobody sitting next to me and give me instruction on how should I drive, I am chilling, yeah.
I drove to the Exhibition Center where they are having the Shenzhen planning show, which is introducing the Shenzhen development history, it’s a good lesson to both me and his wife, well, his wife is from the other city, only been here Shenzhen for years. She’s not too familiar with Shenzhen as I do.
During the show I learnt the name of many popular buildings, I can recognize them when I see them on the street but I can never tell the name of the building anyway. And it’s quite interesting to me to explore the city that I have been living for years.
Unfortunately my bad headache came during our visit there (having such problem for over 10 years and there’s nothing that I can deal with, I get used to it), ended up we spent 2 hours there then we went mother in law’s home to get myself some paracetamol to stop my headache, it works, the paracetamol is the only thing help to heal my headache. Wait, should I happy for that or should I feel upset that I need to rely on the tablet that bad?
