Today I found a black caterpillar playing on a stalk of grass on the edge of a rice field while playing with a boy. In the afternoon a boy took me to the rice fields to see a tractor plowing the fields. Arriving in the rice fields the boys saw a small black caterpillar and almost touched it but I was able to stop it immediately. This caterpillar is very dangerous if it comes into contact with human skin and will cause itching in the skin area until it swells.
