Come and enjoy this walk through Little Venice and Paddington in London

Hello my friends from Liketu and the whole Hive ecosystem! I hope you are having a beautiful day! This time I will take you to a corner of London that few know about and that is Paddington, which is located next to Little Venice.

I made a selection of photos to be able to summarize that walk in 10 shots, which was very challenging, but you can get an idea of what this beautiful area of the capital of the United Kingdom is like.

I met Paddington thanks to a movie starring Nicole Kidman where the real winner is a little bear, who is the focus of the production. When I saw that this place existed, being in London, I decided to visit it. It was quite a spontaneous outing.

Exploring the map, I saw that very close was "Little Venice", which naturally, made me curious enough to propose to know these two places.

Both areas are residential areas of London. Paddington gives note of this with its buildings everywhere; they are very beautiful and there is a sector where people sit down to eat something and enjoy a moment of calm, perhaps in a break from their work or daily life, you can see it in the photo I left.

However, Little Venice, although it is also a neighborhood and a residential area, is much more picturesque because of the canals that are distributed in the sector. They have small boats, which I did not know if some were simply decorative, and that give a very special touch to this area of London. In addition, the birds, very characteristic of the whole city, enjoy the water, giving a lot of life to Little Venice, which with its colorful boats and flowers, attracts the attention of visitors.

These two outings could take a whole morning and can be done in the same day without any problem. In my case, it took me about 3 hours but if I came back, I would spend the whole morning here, because I was in a hurry and I could not sit down to have a tea or an ice cream contemplating the landscape, nor could I get lost in the side streets, something I like to do when I go somewhere.

Ven a disfrutar de esta caminata por Little Venice y Paddington en Londres

Hola mis amigos de Liketu y de todo el ecosistema de Hive! Espero que estén teniendo un día hermoso! En esta ocasión me los llevaré a un rincón de Londres que pocos conocen y se trata de Paddington, que se encuentra junto a Little Venice.

Hice una selección de fotos para poder resumir aquel paseo en 10 tomas, lo cual fue muy desafiante, pero podrán hacerse una idea de lo que es esta bonita zona de la capital de Reino Unido.

Conocí Paddington gracias a una película protagonizada por Nicole Kidman en donde en verdad quien se lleva los galardones es un osito, en quien se centra la producción. Cuando vi que este lugar existía, estando yo en Londres, decidí conocerlo. Fue una salida bastante espontánea.

Explorando el mapa, vi que muy cerca se encontraba “La Pequeña Venecia”, lo cual naturalmente, me generó la suficiente curiosidad como para proponerme conocer estos dos lugares.

Ambos sectores constituyen zonas residenciales de Londres. Paddington da nota de esto con sus edificios por doquier; los mismos son muy bellos y hay un sector en donde la gente se sienta a comer algo y disfrutar de un momento de calma, quizás en algún recreo de su trabajo o de su vida cotidiana, pueden verlo en la foto que les dejé.

Sin embargo, Little Venice, aunque también es un barrio y una zona de viviendas, es bastante más pintoresca por los canales que se encuentran distribuidos en el sector. Ellos cuentan con pequeñas embarcaciones, que no supe bien si algunas estaban sencillamente a modo decorativo, y que dan un toque muy especial a esta zona de Londres. A esto se suman las aves, muy características de toda la ciudad, que disfrutan en el agua, dando mucha vida a Little Venice, que con sus coloridos botes y flores, atrae la atención de los visitantes.

Estas dos salidas podrían tomar toda una mañana y pueden hacerse en el mismo día sin problema. En mi caso, demoré unas 3 horas pero si regresara, pasaría realmente toda la mañana por aquí, pues iba apurada y no pude sentarme a tomar un té o un helado contemplando el paisaje, ni pude perderme por las calles laterales, algo que me gusta hacer cuando recorro algún lugar.
