Auction result well in line with expectations:
The work Water Falls, Agawa Canyon by Lawren Stewart Harris was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in June 2010. The price achieved of CAD 198,000 (€ 135,802) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as CAD 150,000 - 250,000. Admittedly, works by Lawren Stewart Harris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lake Superior Sketch Iii in December 2009 with an auction result of CAD 968,500 (€ 569,666).
