This is Bepina, one of my four dogs that followed me around back then. They all died some years ago. Not the same year.

Here you can see a pretty big mollusk trapped in the shallow coastal pool during the low tide. It's a sea slug and a pretty good swimmer.

The name of the species is Aplysia fasciata, commonly known as the mottled sea hare.

Here you can see a young, ant-mimicking nymph of the Himacerus mirmicoides, a predatory bug from the Nabidae family. In its adult stage, this insect looks considerably different. The bug was posing on my hand.

Here you can see a bit of scenery in the coastal area called Palera. This wild stretch of coastline is situated three or four kilometers from the village of Liznjan.

Here you can see (or more like, barely see) a grasshopper, well camouflaged on the stony terrain near the sea.

Oedipoda caerulescens is the name of this species from the Acrididae family.

This fisherman was throwing the net in the bay of Liznjan, not far from the harbor.

Here you can see just my feet, some rocks, and a bit of foam created by the small waves in the intertidal zone.

And that's it. This summer memory ends here. Have a good day, or night, wherever on the planet you are.

The photographs shown in this post were taken in August 2014. The days were long and hot. Life was easy and slow. Great times. That's all I can tell you, the pictures will continue the narration. Have a good viewing.

AS ALWAYS HERE ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK.

Very nice pictures as usual, but brother, I assure you that if I'm bathing on a beach and I see a mollusk like that, I would run across the sea with a fright lol.

Wow bro, beautiful photography, I want also. Post from liketu but I've not sufficient knowledge like how to post and how to share that's why I'm not posting otherwise I would like to post like you.

Nothing is more fun than taking a bath in the sea during the summer season and the fun of swimming on the banks of the river cannot be overstated.

Lovely photos of the good old days. The sea looked beautiful in light blue. Perhaps if you could have a small boat, we’ll see more photos from the water. The atmosphere was ideal for peaceful relaxation though the weather was rather hot. One could always run back to the shade for a cool drink then get back to sitting in the water again!

I miss going to the sea!

Bepina is looking so good and enjoying the water. Have fun!
