I will not get tired writing about the war in Ukraine because it is happening in Germanys front yard. 807 miles, 1300km, that's not too far away. Our fellow Hivians and all the people enduring hell right now. Check my blog to follow some of them.

It's a matter that needs to concern everyone, as Putin threatens everyone with his nuclear forces.
Now I try everything within my means to help. That's why my friend T and me went aid shopping today. An old army friend has decided to drive down to the border with supplies for the refugees. We got everything a woman with a kid needs right now. Sanitary products, female products, snacks, a little bit of everything we take for granted. I took care of the animals and got pet food. Their situation is not better.
What started with one van made it to the local news and with today it is 3 vans going down to the Ukrainian border with supplies on Friday. More donations will follow. I offered the bus I have for the dogs, because I'm also willing to drive down to pick up the furry refugees if needed. Eric recons a bit. The support among the people for the Ukrainian people is tremendous. We live in the south of Germany but local stores ran out of certain products because many are driving down to Poland right now to support them.
We all can do a little bit. Can't we?
