After a two week break because of Covid I was finally back with my pack today. I had an easy start, just Bubble, Max and Emmi to walk. They were so happy to see me, though I noticed some changes.
Emmi, who is the oldest with 13, was not as agile as 2 weeks ago. She seemed tired and sometimes I worry that she breaks down during a walk. I mean she is happy as can be, it's just the age.
Max and Bubble had fun playing with each other. Bubble is the younger one and likes to tease Max. He often "attacks" him but since I walk them Max gained confidence. Now he stands up to his brother and tells him to take it easy. I also watch out that none of my dogs is overdoing.
Emmi, though slow today, still had a good time. I love to watch her be happy. Old dogs are cute and I admire their optimistic view on life. Emmi still tries to keep up with the youngsters and within her means she is capable. Just look at her jump the tree in the last pic, how determent she is.
Thumbs up for my rascals!
I hope to take my new cam on the job soon. As of now it is still my smartphone. Watching out for a bunch of crazy dogs, I have to have my hands free quickly and need to react fast. Not sure if the new equipment would distract me too much. We shall see. Just a side note lol.
See you next time!
