Building on from my park run debut I want to keep consistent with my cardio exercises aiming for at least 2-3 swimming/running cardio workouts a week. I would aim higher but my busy work schedule limits this especially as most of my shifts are now 9am-6pm.
I think doing cardio 3 times a week is great I can have A day's rest in between sessions if needed and I can include some light weight lifting work in between too after all I don't want to injure myself.
My running shoes have been incredible and the same can be said about my running socks 5k feels tiring on me but wow I get no foot aches or any discomfort during my runs they are so soft and shock-absorbing.
I am excited for more parkruns, but I am very annoyed that most weekends I work so I will be looking to fit them in when I can.
