Cycled from Minehead to the village of Selworthy about 5 miles in distance. Needed the E bike today as the village is at the top of a very steep hill. Right at the top of the hill you have the church which offers stunning views over exmoor .Still lots of snow around but a bit icey and very cold .From the church you walk short distance to the war memorial which is the entrance to Selworthy village .This village of yellow lime stone cottages and thatched roofs are maintained by the National trust which keeps them in good order .There is a tea room and information centre there which is most needed on the walk back up through the village which is surrondeed by woodland and wild life .
