This vacation is over and now it is time to finally start sharing all of the awesome things we did while traveling. Most of our trip was going to be in Saint Augustine, FL. We did spend one night in Colombia, SC. I decided to do this so that during our 10.5-hour drive down to Florida, I could get a nice break halfway through. I can manage a drive that long and did on the way back home once things were over. I think that arriving on the first day of vacation exhausted sucks, so I wanted the drive down to not be so brutal. Plus I had only ever been to Colombia one other time and it was brief. @flowerbaby had never been before, so it seemed like the ideal place for us to stay in an Airbnb for one night.
This post will be showing off all of the cool features of this eclectic Airbnb. This place was located right on the edge of downtown and minutes from tons of things. On top of that, it was so cool inside and out. I loved the design of the space, it used to be the studio setting for a local artist. She and her husband decided to turn it into an Airbnb whenever they moved to a bigger house. The two of them were extremely nice and were even there to greet us after nearly canceling on us a few hours before we arrived due to a plumbing issue. Luckily, they got the problem sorted out in time and we were able to stay our night.
While there we took many photos, found some cool locations outside of the house, and ate a few really good meals. I look forward to sharing more with you soon and then of course doing the same with our time at the beach.
Here is a glimpse of just how amazing this little tiny house Airbnb in Colombia, SC was. Enjoy!
