Hopefully we get fixed soon

Yesterday, I guess there were some DDOS attacks going on, which made it nearly impossible for people to post from the different front ends. I tried a few times to post using Liketu yesterday, but nothing would work, so hopefully this works using Peakd. If not, then I will probably wait until tomorrow to post the results from my contest.

These shots are more of the action shots from the Battle of Resaca reenactment. It was so cool to be able to spend two days at this reenactment, even though it was super hot and humid. The dedication these guys have to their performance is pretty cool to see.

This weekend, here in the US, we are celebrating the 4th of July. It is usually a weekend full of fireworks, BBQs and fun. This year, a lot of different cities are choosing not to do fireworks because of the massive drought we are in.

When our kids were younger, we would buy so many fireworks and shoot them off, but we have not done that in years. I think the kids liked it a lot more when they were younger, but as they got older, it started to seem like we were just lighting our money on fire and watching it burn,

I am going to be going to the store later today to get some stuff for a BBQ. I will probably make a homemade lemon meringue pie too. You really can't beat a home made lemon meringue pie.
