Brought her today for a morning walk! But I have no choice but to pick up her poop haha!
Brought our new fur friend with her water and dog food so has something to munch on after a tiring walk.
Haha! Sorry wife. She was told not to bring the dog to a specific place because it might poop/pee there.
Since we got married, @cmagladys and I have been wanting to own a dog. We are both into dogs, but when we moved out of our respective homes, we have to adjust to our new environment and had no choice but to leave our pets to our parents. But now, after six months of being together, we decided it is time for us to adopt a new dog.
Good thing, the apartment we are renting allows dogs, but only small breeds. Our dogs at home are both big and bark loudly. We can't bring them both. Also, we can't afford to have two adult dogs. Both our parents would also lose their four-legged companions.
I remember I visited a dog cafe before and got so lovestruck by a dachshund. I love its puppy eyes and its silence. It was so clingy and stayed beside me all the time I was there. I asked my wife if she would consider one. She agreed! So while saving up for money for the dog, we are already scouring the internet for one.
But here's the best part. My wife's younger sister offered us her dog. Being busy with her school works, she decided to let us have her four-month-old puppy. And it's a dachshund! What a blessing!
My wife fetched the dog for rehoming. And now, it is a source of joy to us here in the house. The dog's name is Nugget. She is a cutie, and her puppy eyes are a sight to behold. She's also clingy. She goes wherever my wife goes.
Sometimes, I feel a bit jealous because Nugget runs away from me to be beside my wife more. Haha!
And we woke up early today to walk the dog. We wanted to train her to get accustomed to the honking cars and the busy streets. Also, it will give us excitement whenever we do our daily walks.
What a joy to have a dog. Welcome, Nugget!
