To celebrate my birthday this year I wanted to go on a road trip to do some sightseeing. One of our stops was the South Carolina Botanical Garden located in Clemson, South Carolina.
I was told this was a big college sports town but it seemed pretty quiet for Memorial Day weekend. I'm assuming everyone was getting away from school for the break.
With a full-time work and school schedule, trips like this one are absolutely necessary to keep some balance in my life.
Nature (the natural) can help us counter all the electrical/mechanical forces that we are bombarded with on a regular basis. Not to mention sometimes it's just great to get outside of the big city to breathe some fresh air.
The garden was definitely a pleasant experience and I would go back if I passed through Clemson again. Here's the website if you ever think about stopping by
