These photos take me back to times gone by when I lived in Europe and regularly attended every year the Oktoberfest festival in Munich, Germany.

But apart from the festival itself I really enjoyed living in the middle of the campsite, meeting a lot of people from all over the world, exchanging opinions, improving my English and learning some words from other languages.

I even met several Latin Americans who told me they had not missed the festival in recent years.

According to the organizers, more than six million people attend the festival, which is something apotheotic, I preferred to enjoy the tranquility of a campsite and then go out to see Munich, a city with a fantastic history.

I have also had the opportunity to visit other cities in Germany which I have talked about in #HIVE but Munich has something special in its people, something particular that the other German cities do not have.

I see it more friendly to visitors who are not German, more welcoming without that coldness characteristic of Berlin for example.

All waiting for the fantastic festival to start.
