Delivery team moving in the 5kg rice packs ready for food packing this Saturday
So fortunate and grateful we got the price controlled 1kg oil pack for distributing the needy families
In the mean time, we have a refugee support team who came in earlier to pack for some donated frozen croissants and necessary food items for families who have been struggling to land a job while waiting transfer
2023 has not been smooth sailing for each and every one of us as natural disaster struck city and outskirts across states due to the unsual heavy storms in the turn of the season right before the fasting month (for some Muslim refugee families) started.
Though the distraught looming everywhere, there were donors who came to our Food Bank with additional dry clothes and blankets that allowed us to helped the Tamil speaking local Television Station aiding the flood disaster families as far South as the state of Johor
They were kind enough to send us the Tiktok video to show us the progress where you can just on the link here
Even though there are scarsity, we nonetheless just as greatful to make-do with whatever we can, it is our 5 loaves and 2 fishes we have for God, while continue to pray for open doors and opportunities for these families to land a good income source to support the family.
In the mean time, whatever we have, we keep their tummy full for at least 1 meal.
