Food rations are a reality.
We have been living with a false sense of security. The grocery stores have been full. There has been hardly any issues getting food staples like meat, sugar, eggs, and butter. But this is not always the case.
This isn’t a scare tactic, this is reality and maybe a bit of a history lesson. When war comes to a country, systems collapse. People panic. The grocery stores are immediately wiped CLEAN if war comes knocking on our footsteps. If there is a system upheaval or collapse, they are wiped clean. Even during natural disasters and emergencies, they are wiped. Do you want to be in line at Costco fighting over a case of Dasani water?
Germany. Venezuela. These are two examples of throughout history where people have had to wait in lines all day to get bread or other staples. Even in the US during the WW2 when the rations were implemented, the food was controlled. You couldn’t go to the store to get meat or butter whenever you wanted.
I don’t believe it is wise to live with a false sense of security. Our great-grandparents had food storages for a reason - they lived through the wars and long grocery store lines.
Empires rise and fall. Systems collapse. War is truly becoming a common theme of the world. Now is the time to be wise like our ancestors and build a food storage.
