I was at this new town called Hetauda situated in Makwanpur district, Nepal. I came here due to accompany my friends who had some paperwork to be completed. I didn't have much time to visit this town. As this temple was very near, I decided to visit there on foot. The temple goes by the name Bhutandevi dedicated to the goddess Bhutandevi who is also known to be the avatar of goddess Durga, the demon slayer. The temple in the first photo hosts the statue of the same goddess. It is believed that after worshipping the goddess, one can conquer their fear and tackle any problems in their life. The majority of other temples have been built in pagoda style of architecture. There are also other temples dedicated to a different goddesses like Baba Basukinath(second picture), Ram-Sita (third picture), Radha-Krishna (fourth picture), and the statue of Lord Shiva in the last picture. The statue of Lord Shiva was still in its phase of fully being constructed. During various Hindu festivals, the temple is usually crowded with devotees from all around the country.
