Cultivating the vegetable garden or the garden as I explained in previous posts is quite simple when we have spaces that are perfectly adapted to that purpose.
When, on the other hand, we have reduced spaces as in my case, we have to sharpen our wits if we want to grow as many vegetables as possible.
Today I am going to illustrate this theory with the pumpkin, a very noble plant, with beautiful fruits and that grows without any problems and in any geographical environment, with any type of temperatures that are not too cold.
Excluding winter with its frosts, it develops without any problem during the other three seasons: spring, summer and autumn.
The biggest problem to reproduce it in small environments is that it spreads very quickly, with a lot of sheets and guides that get caught everywhere.
For this reason in my house I decided at the beginning of last spring to grow the pumpkins vertically, instead of letting them run along the ground horizontally, since in this case they would cover all the land and prevent me from growing other species.
When the plant begins to develop it is necessary to tie the guides to a support that can be the trunk of a plant that I had to cut, the walls of a greenhouse or the pillars that support a vine -plant of life-.
In all the cases they have developed perfectly in height and the fruits obtained can be seen in the photos.
They can be eaten in different ways, but baked with meat and potatoes they are a real delicacy!

For the technical detail of the photos I have used as background the Wallpaper designed by The Peak Studio to whom I thank for the kind and disinterested concession of use.
