Working in a nation with a high cost of living is challenging in several ways. To make ends meet until the next pay day, you must budget the small amount of money that is left from your monthly wage. This is what happens to people who provide their families monthly financial support. For thrifty shoppers like myself, I visit stores where I can find reasonably priced, yet high-quality products. Hong Kong has a large number of stores that sell imported products. All you have to do is look around; if you discover them, you'll be fortunate. But be ready to stash some amount from your wallet because you'll really be tempted to spend.
One of the shopping centers that provides an extensive selection of imported goods from Korea, Japan, US, Australia, and other countries is Lung Fung Mall. There are many more affordable beauty items here, and people typically follow the latest trends in beauty. Sunday was my pay day, so I opted to walk to Mongkok after my afternoon class in Prince Edward to visit this mall to buy some necessary products.
Because its products are genuinely less expensive than those found at Watsons, Mannings, and other stores, this establishment is always packed with customers. You can find everything there, including imported chocolates, other food items, food supplements, cosmetics, and beauty products. So it's a convenient place for me.
What I am after when visiting this mall are the less expensive imported food supplements and beauty products. I saw good reviews of these Japanese Melano JCC products, so I bought a lotion and a serum. I also bought some supplements which I take daily. These alone cost me almost HK$ 500. But if I buy them outside, they'll cost more.
Aside from less expensive products, Mongkok is a home of shopping centers and outlets for branded merchandise. So if you visit this place someday, you will always see people swarming around with shopping bags, trolleys, and luggage. Flash Sale cards at different shops here are truly tempting. Apart from that, there are free goodies that are being promoted on the streets which you can try. Of course, I can't just ignore the free ones, haha. It's a good place for food trip as well. Different restaurants are also among those that are tempting here.
That's how my Sunday went. Happy new week from my side of the world 😊.
Thanks for your time.
