Who is in control?
One click, one share, one comment, and one post changes your life. It can take you to a good or bad situation. Therefore, one must calculate their actions with prudence on the internet or other forms of media. But are we all doing this?
Communication is the use of patterns such as symbols, words, signs, sounds, and behavior to exchange information and express feelings that result in understanding. With that, learning the proper usage of social media should be strictly applied to avoid misunderstandings. One wrong post may harm others either or attack their feelings.
At present, people rely on media in their day-to-day lives. Most of us use media to do our jobs, to become updated on current issues or news, to guide us in our studies, and to support and improve our lives. It is amazing that most use media with proper discipline, but it is also sad to say that there are still some who do not embody the proper values of using media. Others still attack people and spread fake news.
Indeed, media is an amazing tool in our day-to-day living to continue communication among us, gain information, and make a difference. We must properly use media and outweigh the negative usage. Spread positivity over negativity!
Let me leave a question for you to ponder.
Who takes control, you or the media?
