A few days ago my husband's sister and nephew had to come to our house to spend a few days, but it was not a vacation at all, but due to the lack of health specialists in the area where they live, they had to make a 14 hour trip to our house to be able to perform some medical studies that they urgently needed.
These studies were sent to my husband's nephew a couple of months ago but for economic reasons they had not been able to make the trip here, finally after much work and effort they managed to come and spent a whole week going back and forth to do different studies and visiting several doctors.
The tests were to rule out a very complicated disease such as glaucoma, they were difficult days for everyone, especially for my husband's nephew since he is a 10 year old boy, happily after several studies and the tiredness of these days, the results showed that he did not have glaucoma, which meant that we could breathe easier.
After receiving this good news back home we stopped to finally clear our minds of all these exhausting days, so we stopped at a nearby mall where we spent some time walking, looking at stores and enjoying ourselves. For his part the nephew rode some rides that are inside the mall and finally did what a kid should do, have fun, instead of continuing to worry.
It was a good time, and my husband was very happy to be able to spend these moments with his family after such a long time, since he had several months without seeing them.
