There’s something special about celebrating birthdays, especially when they involve family gatherings. This year, we decided to keep it simple yet memorable by celebrating my mother-in-law’s birthday at Bar Pintxos, a charming spot known for its cozy ambiance and delectable Spanish cuisine. Here’s a glimpse into our delightful evening.
We made a reservation for 6:30 in the evening, but we arrived earlier, feeling a bit hungry already, so we decided to just get in. My mother-in-law is on a strict diet due to her medications, so we ordered dishes suitable for her. I wanted to try their seafood paella, so we got the largest one, and my husband chose the rest of the dishes.
The menu boasts a variety of traditional Spanish tapas, each more tempting than the last. We started with their classic appetizers served with the house specialty wine. For our main course, we had seafood paella, beef salpicao, and crispy belly with mashed potatoes. No birthday celebration is complete without dessert, but we opted to have it at another restaurant just beside Bar Pintxos.
Our simple birthday dinner at Bar Pintxos was everything we hoped it would be – intimate, delicious, and filled with love. The restaurant’s cozy atmosphere and exceptional food made it an ideal setting for our celebration.
