It was in 2019 when my husband and I experienced autumn. It was our goal and we were thankful that we got the chance to experience it before the pandemic and before I got pregnant. In fact, I already had a gut feeling that I was pregnant while in Seoul because I suddenly had a dislike for every food that I smell. Thankfully, my baby was safe even after all the walking as we did a DIY trip.
I already forgot where these images were specifically taken but I am sure we were somewhere in Myeongdong and we stopped by some random corner because of the pretty Maple trees. It was a delight to see the colors of these trees. I wish we came to Seoul at an earlier date though because, at that time when we arrived, it was already at the tail end of the season so it was already cold on the third day, it rained and so the majority of the trees lost their leaves.
Still, we were thankful that we had the chance to see them and took photographs before that happened.
I also took some photos of random people around, most of them seemed like employees grabbing for coffee because they got cups in their hands, almost all of them have a cup in hand and were talking towards a certain building. I actually liked that they just didn't mind me taking photos, I did see another couple who were like Filipinos too but I was not sure and they were taking selfies from a distance.
My husband was busy taking videos as well at that time so I was just sitting at a bench enjoying the view of the trees and their colors while also observing the locals. Actually, I was also checking out their winter clothing. Speaking of, I'd like to share that there are so many thrift shops in Seoul too! There are a lot of Ukay ukay in fact that sell winter clothing for cheap prices! I even bought our winter jackets there, it was a piece of advice I got from reading blogs and watching video logs online prior to travel.
