Today was a lovely day to spend it with likeminded friends. The Bitcoin chatoshi picnic under the tall trees at the city center of Bitcoin Country.
We came with some brunch to share and have between the people that came through. Although my time was pretty late because of Uber and a heavy traffic, I was able to finally arrived almost 2 hours before the intended time.
The meeting itself went fine, I brought pineapples and people really liked them. I speak enjoyed some tortilla chips with guac and pico de gallo sauce. The sauce was a bit bland, but it was expected from a non Mexican cook.
The talks however were pretty good as we talked about the venezuelan situation all across Latin America and how it has affected countries in different ways. We also talked a lot about Brazil and how the culture sometimes it's a bit different from the rest of the make up of Spanish speaking LATAM. From the shopping to the services to the tech and the population in cities like Sao Paulo and Rio De Janeiro.
It was a great conversation, very funny and also engaging. It was mainly in Spanish which made most of the rest of the expats had their own conversation on the other side of the picnic. It was mostly the evil government and the evil globalists, which usually make me feel like gloom "end is near" type of person. Fortunately the variety of people makes it so you can just pick up another language and keep going.

I'm jealous of the weather that you have there! It is sunny here, but I can't go out in a T-shirt and shorts! 😃

Btw. that looks like a great place for a picnic!
