I got the nicest seat in the house (in my opinion). Being the earliest has it's advantages.
A completely empty breakfast area greeted me.
Milk, Yogurt, Cereals. Where is the wine?
Fruits and juices. I have no idea why they placed the TV there where no one will ever look at it.
Loafs of bread and pastries.
Braised beef brisket. I really liked these tender chunks of beef.
Egg fried rice for those who needs their rice for breakfast.
Red Bean Buns.
I loved these lotus leaf wrapped glutinous rice with chicken meat inside.
I usually don’t wake up early at all. The bed is so comfy that I can’t quite bear to pull myself out from it. Not to mention if it’s a hotel bed with their nice soft fluffy sheets. :)
But if I really do have to wake up early, then I will have no choice but to do so. I decided to go to the lounge again for my breakfast (just the second time in my trip thus far). It does appear that I really did wake up really after all. Other than the lounge staff, I happened to be the only person there! Well, that was the case for only about 15 more minutes as people started streaming in.
The main difference between breakfast and the evening cocktail that I can tell are the drinks! Gone are the wines and in place where they were are now milk and cereals. The beer area was now filled with fruits and juices. What a pity though, I wouldn’t have minded a glass of wine first thing in the morning. :)
The food itself was pretty good and I’d say that at the very least, it wasn’t a complete waste of time sacrificing that bit of sleep time.
