El diseño nos permite ver su forma de cruz griega cuya cubierta se basa en una nave central, dos naves laterales y una cúpula que fue diseñada con la intención de que fuera vista desde cualquier punto de la ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela. La estructura fue construida en concreto armado y muros levantados en ladrillo, revestidos con mármol travertino.
