The Calgary Comic Expo Parade of Wonders was today, and these were some of my shots from the staging area just before the start of festivities. It's been about 4 years since we have been able to run a parade to start the event first due to the pandemic, and then last year when it was set to return, a last-minute snowstorm cancelled the cosplay parade at the last minute.
It was really great to be able to get back to it. I wandered around for about half an hour beforehand. There was a great variety of different themes from all the amazing cosplayers, and my next set will be focused on their march in the parade.
