I find that Seagulls are really photogenic if you catch them in the right light. Their white and gray feathers show interesting textures, and different tones can really bring out some intricate details. Usually, if you don't approach them to quickly, they will also remain pretty calm and not fly off right away, allowing you to get some great close-ups with the right lens.
