Walking in the middle of the city with friends, when I surprised a meeting other friends.
Two and four-legged friends!
I'm always in the back. So I can photograph. Hoping not to be noticed.
My friend Valentin saw me but, of course, he didn't mind!
Street photography is my favorite. I so love having dozens of models to photograph and them not knowing! Total strangers or even friends. Obviously, I often get noticed, the later this happens the better.
I like street photography because it is and remains a document, an image of a place or people at a given time. It will always be for me a memory of the context.
I like street photography because its most common snapshot aspect can also be an excuse for mistakes I make, out of ignorance. I can tell that the time was not enough for the best framing, etc.
Each edition of the Deranged Photography Contest prompts me to do some research, find out more about what the indicated theme means, make me read tutorials and even books ( articles in books), and look what I found out. Applicable to all possible themes in photography...
One of the best ways to get inspired to shoot street photography is to study the masters. For a good reason, the masters are the masters: they put in the time and work to develop a body of work with their own style.
I am participating, in the Amateur Tier.
A note: @moonappics is @bluemoon's second account. After more than two years of inactivity, @moonappics wants and tries a second existence in Hive. I would like to point out that @moonappics and @bluemoon have a common photo base and there is no unauthorized use. Thank you!
