The flight of birds is something that fascinates me. If I could choose something that animals can do and humans can't, then I would definitely choose flight. Me, who's afraid of flying! I don't know why I'm afraid when someone else is at the controls. If I were to fly the plane myself I would be braver, even if I am a poor driver.

In this vein, if I could fly, if I could take care of myself, I would certainly be much braver...

If, if, if... no ifs and buts don't work in reality. We crawl on the ground and birds fly in the sky!

Whenever I'm at sea I'm fascinated by the flight of seagulls. It seems to me that no other bird masters the air so well, glides so easily and elegantly. Plus this bird swims too! More recently, it does well on land. In recent years I have seen a lot of gulls in my town which is 200 km from the sea.

I love to watch the gulls fly and I love to photograph them. Here are some of my attempts...

A note: @moonappics is @bluemoon's second account. It was born to post in an old, pre-Hive app called Appics (kind of like Instagram on the blockchain). With the transition to Hive, Appics disappeared and @moonappics was no longer needed. After more than two years of inactivity, @moonappics wants and tries a second existence in Hive. I would like to point out that @moonappics and @bluemoon have a common photo base and there is no unauthorized use. Thank you!

Watch out for the human traffickers at hivefest. You wont know it until its too late. STAY AWAY! Beware, traffickers can be women or men! They will act nice until they dont. There is human trafficking going on around this type of crypto. I have witnessed it. They literally have attempted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, DHS, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism ..... https://ecency.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem if you run into one of them you may want to immediately shoot them in the face. 187, annihilate, asphyxiate, assassinate, behead, bleed, bludgeon, boil, bomb, bone, burn, bury, butcher, cap, casket, choke, chop, club, crucify, crush, curb, decapitate, decimate, deflesh, demolish, destroy, devein, disembowel, dismember, drown, electrocute, eliminate, end, euthanize, eviscerate, execute, explode, exterminate, extinguish, finish, fry, grind, guillotine, gut, hack, hang, hit, ice, implode, incinerate, kill, liquidate, lynch, massacre, maul, microwave, mutilate, neutralize, obliterate, off, pop, poison, punnish, quarter, ruin, shank, shock, shoot, shred, skin, slay, slaughter, smoke, smother, snipe, snuff, squish, stab, strangle, stone, suffocate, suicide, SWAT, swing, terminate, torture, terrorize, whack, waste, wreck. Some really nice shots, especially the closeups. What set-up did you use to capture those pictures? From my own amateur experience, it's quite hard to get focus on a moving subject which is so far away.

Thank you! I'm still an amateur and, unfortunately, a lazy or tired amateur. I don't know exactly what to call myself, because I don't have the desire to learn photographic techniques anymore, so I shoot more at random...
I use a Canon EOS 1300D camera which is equipped with a basic, I think, and not very powerful EFS 18-55 mm lens which allows me some optical zoom. When shooting birds I use an exposure time of over f/200. I then do a photo edit where I do a little more zooming if necessary (crop). I use a free image editor called PIXLR. It's in Romanian, but I think you can change the language in the menu, or it might change automatically depending on where you access the program. I hope maybe it will be useful. Thank you for your continued support!
