The sea in springtime. Little to no beach but the still blooming trees offer a special charm.
The sea is seen from a medieval town. Sozopol, Bulgaria.
I can say that the Black Sea is also blue!
Red, green and blue, are the colors of the sea in May.
Ruins of an ancient Greek fortress. Imagination can go a long way. How did people live more than two thousand years ago?
My thoughts run, naturally and uncontrollably to the sea.
Naturally, because the sea is for me the lost paradise that I never had.
Uncontrolled, because I can't fight it.
There's also this summer to blame. And these world crises are to blame.
I went to sea this year. But it was too little, too far, too soon.
Too far, because it's hard to reach, and I would have liked it to be closer, so I could go more often.
Too little. because it was only four days, two of which were on the road.
Too early, because I didn't have the patience and walked a little after the beginning of May and did not feel the heat of summer, as I liked to feel in my youth.
It was great because once I got near the sea I could not see the shortcomings. The sea washes everything away. Even if not immediately. The memories remain with the best and the most beautiful and the ugly seem to be lost in the waves of the sea.
A note: @moonappics is @bluemoon's second account. It was born to post in an old, pre-Hive app called Appics (kind of like Instagram on the blockchain). With the transition to Hive, Appics disappeared and @moonappics was no longer needed. After more than two years of inactivity, @moonappics wants and tries a second existence in Hive. I would like to point out that @moonappics and @bluemoon have a common photo base and there is no unauthorized use. Thank you!
